Day 4 (which was yesterday as I write...)

Posting today for yesterday.  Will post later today for today.

Finally, this whole thing is groovin' out.  I think my body has finally calmed down over this at least for the moment.  Had a big challenge on day 4.  Had to get a gallbladder ultrasound at 10:30 a.m. and couldn't eat/drink after midnight.  Now, when you are only getting 800-1000 calories a day, that seemed like it might be a TOUGH-IE!  BUT, it wasn't as horrible as I thought.  First of all, I broke the rules and had a cup of coffee in the a.m. because I KNEW I couldn't get past 10:30 with NOTHING and having the coffee helped a ton (and it proved to be NO trouble for getting the US done).  Was done with the tech by 10:45 and immediately had a bar AND a shake.  Then about an hour later, I 'cheated' and had 2 scrambled eggs at the coffee shop w/a little spinach and tomato.  THAT helped a ton.  Then I had soup around 2:45.  Hungry though, so about 4:15 I was unprepared and at Wally world and got a small pack of peanuts (not ideal, but it helped).  Yes, I kept drinking water throughout the day but not as much water overall as I had been having.  Dinner was pork roast (and a little left over Santa Maria steak ) and LOTS of broccoli w/spray butter and I was a happy chappy.  Around 9:30 pm or so, Rob made both of us a shake and I was perfect!

Food review:
No new foods yesterday but the soups are growing on me, they aren't as awful as the first time I tried them.
For the day I had
fruit/nut bar
banana shake
chicken/wild rice soup
choc. shake
counted the eggs, and peanuts as MR (even though they probably took up more than just 2 MF MR)

NOTE:  US-ultrasound, MF-medifast, MR-meal replacement

Oh, and no Abdoer Twist today, I felt kinda bad about that.  I just ran out of time in the day.

Water:  about 12 servings for the day (8 oz. each)  I think I definitely have a better day the more water I drink; however, that has always been true for me for all dieting I've ever done.

Overall rating for the day: 8/10 (with 10 being FAB-ulous!)
