'kay. Might have taken my birthday celebrating a little too far. :( Up about 3.5 lbs. from last week, BUT...let me say in my defense.......it was my birthday AND, wait, AND, my mom and grandma are visiting. :) Okay so it's not been a great week, but seriously, I haven't eaten like a total maniac. On the days we've had lunch out, or had a less-than 'lean and green' dinner, I have eaten fewer meal replacements etc.
So this week, ate dinner out twice, ate lunch out twice, and had beef stroganoff for dinner twice (my health coach is gonna KILL me). But again, I made the best choices at those times than I've ever made while trying to lose weight. So on the up side I managed to learn something in all of this, by not going COMPLETELY overboard as I would have in the past.
Another culprit this week re: my gain, WATER! I have not had NEARLY the water this week that I usually drink. I swear there is a direct correlation.
What's been liberating about this week's experience is that while I've been, let's say 'not good' instead of 'bad' ;), I feel like I have a weapon to combat this and that's following the plan. Needless to say, I'm motivated to have a good day today and get back firmly on track.
Observation, it is now time to start walking for real for exercise. Fat is beginning to hang ever so slightly and it's NOT a pretty sight. I think I'm gonna throw in some crunches for fun (I actually LOVE crunches).
Okay, as I'm writing this post from my cozy bed, I shall get up and get moving! 10 crunches and the Abdoer Twist, after that....COFFEE!
Food today, none so far but it's only 8 a.m. and I'm not officially up yet.
I typed a big ol post and blogger ate it.
ReplyDeletePhtttph!!! Guess I am suppose to shut up!
Oh man! I hate it when that happens. Sometimes when I have something long to say on a blog or facebook or whatever, I will type it in notepad and then copy/paste it. If you're so inclined to try again...
ReplyDeleteHey lady!! Adding the walking will give such a boost to your weight loss! Dig it! And good on ya!!!
ReplyDeleteYeeeeeeessss, I knowwwww. And I live in the perfect place to walk, but I keep complaining that my knees hurt. ANd they feel MUCH better than they did, but most days I feel like just the walking I HAVE to do is enough. I have to just make myself start, get over the hump of just doing it one or twice to get the boulder moving.
