Day 21

Well, I weighed in this morning and I was feeling VERY bittersweet about the results.  I'd lost 3 lbs. since Thursday which was awesome (because I'd gained 3 lbs sometime between Tues. and Thurs. a.m.) but that keeps me still at 13 lbs. since I started.  I was really hoping I might have dropped an extra lb. or two.  So, I'm just trying to renew my resolve and keep on trucking.

Today was okay.  I ate my first meal around 9:15 ish today (a double batch of pancakes) and THEN I didn't eat again until about 1ish but I let it go too long and had a bar, and some almonds, and a slice of cheese, and a spoon of peanut butter.  THe weird thing is....all that had me full and I didn't eat anything again until 7:30 pm.  ANd I wasn't hungry until then.  I didn't mean to be unprepared, but it just ended up that way. (Had to take a daughter to a performance and ended up staying for the whole thing but wasn't intending to...was intending to come back home and eat dinner around 7 pm).  I did have a salad at that time and then had some spinach and chicken around 10 pm.  I ended with the 'soft serve' chocolate mint.  Let me tell you, that stuff ROCKS!  It's like an icy pudding and the flavor is excellent.  I've only eaten one so I've got more to eat.  I think it's going to be my new late afternoon/before dinner snack (like around 4 pmish).

Today's rating overall: 6/10 (because I was so bad at lunch AND didn't eat every 2 hours AND left myself unprepared.
Did not do the Abdoer today, but I PROMISE to do it tomorrow.

  1. Post some pictures with this as you go. The queen of the photos should have some pizazz to the blog. I think it might help. Add some info besides just weight. Books ready, what you did around the house, etc. A more complete picture than just what goes in your mouth--may help keeping that soft serve out of the mouth too often.
